From Passion to Bakery: The Story of Zookies

Hi, I’m Zayn, the 13-year-old behind Zookies! My love for baking started when I was just 8 years old, and by 11, I had the incredible opportunity to take the stage at the Cake, Bake, and Sweets Show in Sydney with Chef Miguel Maestre and Chocolatier Kirsten Tibballs. Competing against five others, I won a signed cookbook from Kirsten Tibballs, who was featured on MasterChef and presented the 2017 Grand Finale challenge.

Being on stage with them inspired me even more, fueling my passion for baking and creating new flavors. For nearly 12 months, I worked on perfecting my recipe, with my family and friends as my taste testers. What started as just having fun in the kitchen has now grown into a business!

At Zookies, I specialize in thick, stuffed New York-style cookies, baked fresh to order using premium ingredients. Each bite delivers the perfect balance of crispy edges and a soft, gooey center. But Zookies isn’t just about cookies—we also stock the viral Dubai Chocolate and Loaded Peanut Butter, two of the most talked-about treats online. While only the cookies are made fresh to order, every product we sell is made with care and quality.

The name Zookies comes from swapping the "C" in cookies for the "Z" in my name, making it truly my own. I love sharing my passion for baking, and I hope you enjoy every bite as much as I do! 🍪🔥
